01 / THE CHALLENGE
Meal Prep Website Design & Weekly Ordering
Package size, individual meals, quantities, dietary notes, and delivery details all need to arrive together. Building a dedicated ordering path gives those details a consistent home instead of leaving the business to piece them together across conversations.
Keep the choice personal. Give the details a structure.
02 / THE DIRECTION
Let the food lead. Make the choices clear.
The existing Miami Value Prep identity sets the direction: confident type, teal and pink accents, and food imagery from the site. A weekly menu presents the current lineup, while the ordering page separates package selection from meal quantities and optional extras.

03 / INTERACTIVE EXPERIENCE
A Website Ordering Flow for Weekly Meals
Customers choose a package and mix and match meals until every spot is filled. The summary updates as selections change, keeping quantities and the total visible. Food requirements and delivery information are collected before the order is submitted.
The current customer flow selects quantities for the week; it does not assign meals to individual weekdays. Orders and payment confirmation remain separate.
Read the video walkthrough
- Open the homepage and browse the weekly menu.
- Choose a five-meal package.
- Add different meals and watch the order summary update.
- Complete fictional contact and delivery details, then submit to the isolated demonstration system.
- Open Weekly Orders and review the sample order’s unpaid status. No payment is collected or verified.
04 / CUSTOMER JOURNEY
The summary stays with the decision.
Meal quantities, package pricing, extras, and delivery are organized into one request. Customers can add food requirements and special instructions before sending it. The received message acknowledges the order; it does not claim that a payment has gone through.
05 / BUSINESS MANAGEMENT
Order management built around the real payment process.
The owner can review weekly orders, inspect meal selections and notes, and track unpaid and paid orders separately. Customers pay through Zelle outside the website. The owner marks an order paid only after verifying receipt; the site does not process cards or automatically verify bank transfers.

Management screenshots contain fictional records only. Private tools are not linked from this case study.
06 / RESPONSIVE EXPERIENCE
Mobile Website Design for Meal Ordering
On mobile, the package choices and meal controls stack into a single path. A compact cart keeps the selection count and total close, and its Continue action moves the customer toward the next incomplete part of the order.
07 / THE RESULT
A website that supports the work after the order.
The public menu and owner workspace share a structured ordering system. Meal selections arrive as records the business can review, alongside the information needed for preparation and delivery. The result is a useful operational tool as well as a distinct online presence.
